What We Do
HOPE2 has home bases in Liberia and Uganda and has taken teams on mission to other countries such as Jamaica and Mexico. It is not about the where; it’s about the why and the who.
In Liberia there is a neighborhood where we have a Liberian-staffed school, clinic and church. Roots are being put down in Uganda as we begin building our Hope Center there. We also have missionaries on the ground in Liberia, but none of these things are what constitute HOPE2’s vision.
Bigger picture vision is not for more classrooms or increased healthcare but for life to be shared and the Gospel spread; each facet of the ministry is an avenue for relationship building. Our vision is not to see change in a country as much as it is to see change in an individual. The desire is that even as we bring hope, hope will be poured back into each person who travels with the mission.

Water
They say that water is life; without water we would only survive a few days. Water is the top physical issue troubling humanity. Only 3 percent of the water on the earth is drinkable. More people die from water issues in our world than wars. At HOPE2, we are convicted that sharing God’s love involves caring for
Education
Some believe that the lack of education keeps the poor chained to their poverty. The Bible says, “without vision people perish”. Education helps create dreams, possibilities, and vision. HOPE2 has witnessed firsthand the power of educating the impoverished. We have heard their dreams and marveled at the vision awakening out of the most broken places. Our director in Liberia made this powerful statement: “When Hope Academy graduates their first class of seniors in a few years, we will graduate a revival into this country”. We are convicted that God’s love is shared well through providing education to those in need.
Medical
Small, solvable medical issues that are ignored turn into devastating, unmanageable suffering. HOPE2 seeks to help those we serve in simple ways. Most of our neighbors don’t need heart surgery, they need loving care that is within our abilities to give. In many of the places we serve, untreated malaria kills thousands each year. We have served in orphanages where every single child is suffering from horrible parasites that can be taken care of. We are convicted that sharing God’s love involves caring for simple needs among the suffering.
Agriculture
Hope given in sustainable ways has the power to grow communities beyond what we can do in a simple visit. HOPE2 believes in agricultural education and has found an incredible program that we teach called Farming God’s Way. We are convicted that God’s love is given when you help others learn to grow food to provide for their own needs.
Pastoral Training
Since 2006, HOPE2 has been training pastors in Africa. A good leader is always a student and their need for quality training in the Word of God is essential. Our training that began in Liberia and has expanded to a vision to train leaders in all 54 countries in Africa. We are convicted that training leaders waters the thirsty as much as any other thing we are privileged to be a part of. We are dedicated to helping those who are helping others.
